The TH1000RPmk2 is Fostex’s closed-back flagship planar headphone, built around the Premium RP Driver mk2 and hand-finished hard-maple housings dyed with traditional Awa indigo. Each pair is assembled in Japan, bringing craft and full-field planar control into the same uncompromising object.

The mk2 driver refines air damping around the diaphragm to improve low-frequency authority while preserving the precise attack, decay and low coloration for which RP technology is known. The closed housing focuses that resolution into a dense, intimate presentation, while dual 3.5 mm entries make premium balanced-cable options easier to adopt.
