Serene is a fully closed-back planar magnetic headphone built around a proprietary 72mm × 89mm driver platform. The Director’s Cut edition is a limited, hand-verified batch that undergoes additional manual inspection and stabilization beyond standard production QC to improve consistency, comfort, and long-term diaphragm stability.

Director’s Cut Process

• 12-Hour Vegan Pad Conditioning
  Pads are pre-compressed and conditioned to stabilize early-use compliance and reduce seal variability during initial wear. This process softens the Faux leather for added comfort.
• Manual Clamp Calibration
  Headband clamp is evaluated and adjusted for comfort while maintaining proper seal integrity.
• 100 Hours of Natural Musical Break-in
  Drivers are exercised under controlled music playback cycles to normalize early-stage mechanical variance and stabilize diaphragm behavior.
• Planar Driver Inspection & Tension Verification
  Each unit undergoes disassembly, visual inspection and a complete 16 screw magnet/film re-tensioning. Where required, drivers are re-seated and tension-balanced to reduce susceptibility to pressure-induced membrane instability.
• Individually Signed & Numbered
  Each Director’s Cut unit is serialized as part of the hand-verified batch.
